Alexandre Meterissian


Alexandre Meterissian has been a consultant at HATLEY since 2013. Before joining HATLEY, Alexandre has worked in various ministerial offices in Ottawa.

He contributed to the development of various foreign policy initiatives while in the office of the Hon. Lawrence Cannon M.P., C.P. before joining the office of the Hon. Jason Kenney M.P., C.P. where he was responsible for relations with cultural communities in the Greater Montreal Area. He was also responsible for communicating numerous government policies.

Alexandre is a McGill University Arts graduate with a major in political science and minors in economics and philosophy, and an HEC Montréal graduate where he completed his Masters of Science in Administration (MSc.), specialized in corporate strategy. His master’s thesis focused on the impacts of the Quebec-California cap-and-trade market on Quebec’s economy. In 2010, he represented Canada at the G8/G2O Youth Summit in Vancouver and in 2014 he served as the policy director for the Quebec Liberal Party’s youth wing convention.

His experience in the media and on the federal and provincial political scene makes Alexandre an important asset in terms of strategic communications as well as in government relations.
